Level A2 is the second beginner level of proficiency in the German language according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). At this level, learners have progressed beyond the absolute basics and have acquired a slightly deeper understanding of the language. Level A2 marks a significant step forward from A1, allowing learners to communicate more confidently in everyday situations. It provides a foundation for further language development, as learners continue to expand their vocabulary and improve their language skills. Beyond A2, learners can progress to higher levels (B1, B2, etc.), where they will gain greater proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in German.
